About this game

VolcanoRun is a side-scrolling escape runner set inside a volcanic eruption. Rock platforms scroll toward you from the right and the lava wall advances relentlessly from the left. Tap anywhere to jump over the gaps between platforms. Tap again while in the air for a double jump to clear wider gaps or correct a mistimed jump. If the lava wall catches up or you fall into a gap you lose a life. You have three lives. The speed of both the platforms and the lava wall increases the further you run making gaps harder to judge and reaction time shorter. Gold platforms scattered along the route glow yellow and briefly push the lava wall back when you land on them giving you a moment of breathing room. The volcanic backdrop features rocky silhouette mountains glowing with lava light, molten cracks in the ground, and an ember fire sprite player with a flame crown and fire trail. Lava drips down the advancing wall edge and spark particles scatter when the wall moves. The score is your total distance run.
