In times of emergency, it's difficult to convey everything about your pet in words.

Sudden hospitalization, business trips, travel, disasters—situations where you need to entrust your pet's care to someone else while you're away can arise unexpectedly. "How much food should I give them?", "How do I administer their medication?", "Who is their regular vet?"—it's reassuring to be able to clearly communicate all the information in your head to the person taking care of your pet.

The Pet Handover Notebook app allows you to record important information about your pet and create a "Handover Sheet (PDF)" to pass on to the person taking over their care. You can print it out and stick it on the refrigerator or send it via email when leaving your pet with a pet sitter, family, or friend, or in case of hospitalization or emergency.

■ When to use this feature

- Leaving your pet with a pet sitter or pet hotel
- Asking family or friends to look after your pet while you travel or go on a business trip
- Preparing for your own hospitalization or sudden illness
- Informing family members who live far away about your pet's situation during a disaster
- Sharing pet care responsibilities among multiple people

■ What you can record

You can write down information about your pet in five sections. It's okay if there are blank spaces. You can gradually fill in what you know.


- Basic Information… Name, Breed, Species, Date of Birth, Sex, Microchip Number
- Food… Food Type/Brand, Amount and Frequency, Feeding Tips, Treat Rules, Foods That Absolutely Must Not Be Given
- Health… Chronic Illnesses/Precautions, Medications and Administration, Regular Veterinarian, Veterinary Phone Number, Pet Insurance, Vaccinations/Prevention
- Care… Walks, Toilet Training, Personality/Habits, Fears/Dislikes, How to Calm Them, Favorite Playtimes
- In Case of Emergency… Potential Guardians, Family/Emergency Contacts, Request Regarding Costs, A Message to "Please Take Care of This Pet"

■ User-Friendly "Handover Sheet" (PDF)

The information you write will be compiled into a one-page A4 PDF. It's designed so that someone entrusting your pet to you for the first time can see all the necessary information at a glance.

- Emergency contacts and veterinary phone numbers are displayed prominently in the top frame. They're easy to see in case of trouble.

- You can include a photo of your pet, so you won't mix up whose sheet it is.

- Easy-to-read design even when printed in black and white. Convenient printing at convenience stores is also possible.

- PDFs can be shared via email/chat, saved as files, or printed on the spot using the sharing menu.

■ Supports multiple pets

You can register any number of pets. You can create individual sheets for each pet, or combine all registered pets into a single PDF. Even families with multiple pets can keep a detailed record of each pet.

■ Backup for device changes

Recorded data can be exported and imported as backup files. This is useful for transferring to a new smartphone or in case of data loss.

■ Safe and secure use

- All information is stored only on this smartphone. There is no account registration for the app.

- There is no function to send information to external servers.

- One-time purchase. Once purchased, there are no monthly fees. No ads are displayed.

Don't feel pressured to fill everything in. Start with what you can write today, little by little. The list screen shows how much you've written, so you can add to it in your free time.

This notebook is for passing on pet care information (it's not a legally binding document like a will). That's why it's not formal; you can leave a record of your pet in your own words.
