Sixteen words. Four hidden groups of four. Can you find them all?

Quartet gives you a 4x4 grid of words. Hidden inside it are four secret
groups — four fruits, four things from a kitchen, four kinds of weather.
Your job is to work out which words belong together before you run out
of lives.

It sounds simple. The words are not on your side.


HOW IT WORKS

Pick four words you think belong together and submit. Get it right and the
group locks to the top with its category revealed. Get it wrong and it
costs one of your four lives — but if three of your four were correct,
Quartet tells you that you're one away, which is often all you need.

Solve all four groups to win.


THE CATCH

A word that looks like it belongs in two groups only ever belongs to one.
Every puzzle is checked so that each of the sixteen words fits exactly one
category. There is always precisely one correct answer, and never a coin
flip.

The difficulty comes from somewhere fairer: near misses. DOLPHIN sitting
beside a group of sea creatures when it is really there as a mammal. PARTY
looking like a celebration when the answer is politics. The trap is real,
but the puzzle is always solvable.
