About this app

The digital guidebook "Vologda Guide" is an educational app that contains information about the city's history, culture, and landmarks, as well as prominent figures whose lives are inextricably linked to Vologda. The app is divided into four information sections.

The "History" section contains illustrated articles about the city's development and its role in Russian history. A timeline makes navigating historical events easier.

The "Culture" section includes information about local folk traditions and crafts, the city's historical and cultural monuments, museums, and other cultural sites.

The "Places" section is an interactive map showing the locations of landmarks. Each point marked on the map is a link to an illustrated article with a description. Using the route builder, you can create a personalized collection of travel recommendations by setting parameters through filters.

The "People" section is dedicated to prominent figures whose lives are connected with Vologda.
