About this app

V Power turns your phone into the dashboard for a VORTEC indoor cycling bike.

Connect over Bluetooth and see every number that matters, large enough to read
mid-effort, on a display built for a dark studio.

LIVE METRICS
• Cadence and power on twin dial gauges, colour-coded by effort zone
• Resistance at the rear axle in N·m, derived from power and cadence and
smoothed so the reading stays steady instead of twitching
• Heart rate from any standard Bluetooth strap
• Elapsed time, energy burned and average power along the bottom row
• One-tap reset for time, calories and average power between intervals

WORKS WITH STANDARD SENSORS
Any Bluetooth Cycling Power (0x1818), Speed & Cadence (0x1816) or Heart Rate
(0x180D) device. Connect a crank and a heart-rate strap at the same time, and
the app reconnects on its own if a sensor drops out.

QR PAIRING
Scan the sticker on the bike and the app opens, connects to that bike's crank
and sets its station name — no scrolling through a list of identical devices.

GROUP CLASSES
Switch on Data Broadcast and the bike reports its live figures over UDP to a
scoring host on the same Wi-Fi, which can assign riders to red and blue teams
and reset every dashboard in the room at the start of a round. The broadcast is
off by default, stays on your local network, and never reaches the developer.

PRIVACY
No accounts. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. Ride data lives in memory for
the length of the session and is gone when you finish.

Preview mode lets you see the whole dashboard working before you ever pair a
bike.
