The maze is completely dark. You cannot see the walls, the exit, or yourself.
You can only send out a ping — a ring of sonar that races outward, lights up whatever it touches, and fades. That flash is the only map you will ever get, and you get a limited number of them per level.
Everything after that is memory and nerve.
SONAR, NOT SIGHT
Each ping paints the walls for a moment, then the dark takes them back. Fire one too early and you learn nothing. Fire one too late and the clock has already eaten your lead. Good players learn to move on a map they are holding in their head, not one they can see.
THREE STARS, AND THEY ARE YOUR LIVES
You enter every level with three stars. Brushing a decoy costs you one, plus two seconds off a clock that was never generous. Lose all three and the level starts over on a freshly generated layout — the same challenge, never the same maze.
DESCEND THROUGH THE SECTORS
Progress runs in sectors of five levels. Each one tightens the walls, thins out your pings, and introduces something new: decoys that pulse in and out of solidity, an exit that will not sit still, and paired gates where exactly one of the two is always deadly. The difficulty climbs, drops back for a breath at each new sector, then climbs higher than before.
BONUS ECHOES
Somewhere in the dark, occasionally, there is a gold orb. Reach it and you bank a fourth star — a gold one — that carries with you into the next level. Clear a level holding all four and the game says so.
BUILT FOR ONE HAND, AND FOR HEADPHONES
Everything is driven by a single thumb. Every wall, ping, near miss, and clear has its own sound and its own haptic pulse — the audio is not decoration here, it is information. Play it with headphones on.
NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. NO INTERNET.
Sonarfall does not collect anything, does not phone home, and does not need a connection. Your progress lives on your device and nowhere else. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.
Your echo is the only light down here. Use it carefully.
A pitch-black maze, a handful of pings, and one way out. Find it in the dark.
