zero stars. not reliable! app used to work great. but now, why even have the binoculars if you can't launch the app. I did find that if I wanted to change the rifle or calibrate the binoculars, I could un-install the app, reboot my phone, re-install the app, pair my binos, set the rifle and ... that's it. if you want to change the loaded profiles, get ready to do that all over again. unfortunately, elk population density is inversely proportional to cell phone tower density

I have never reviewed an app, but this one is difficult to ignore, especially when you consider the price tag of the device this app is supposed to assist. I'm a loyal Vortex customer, and I love the Fury HD binoculars, but this app is useless. It constantly crashes because permissions will not cache. Initial setup works fine until you open the app again followed by a crash. Resetting the location permissions or reinstalling is the only solution. Do better Vortex.

UPDATE: My initial review was 2 stars because the app crashed every time. After the quick response from Vortex, it turned out to be a location permission setting not being enabled that was causing the app to crash. After granting the app location permission, it launches immediately. Unfortunately I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app first which caused me to lose all my profiles. Would have given 5 stars if you could save your data to an account and load in the app from any device.
