Rather intuitive. It's hard to say which app is the best. They tend to use different methods that don't work universally for everyone. But this works for me. Slow and fast speech makes it easy to understand while reading. I've used Rosetta Stone, duolingo, etc. Old norse is my 5th language. I also speak French, Norwegian, and I'm learning icelandic. That really helps with old norse, being so closely related. Worth the $4! Tusen takk! Heill ok glaðr, vinr minn.

Thank you so much! Also a little tip, the app remembers which speech rate you used last and applies it as the default rate, so if you do like the slower rate better then it can be used as default, much love and good luck on your language journey(s).

I'm enjoying this learning experience very much. I like drilling at it several times at the end of the day, keeping a notebook on hand for the phrases I'd like to practice.

I like the app. the only thing I wish there was, is a way to set it to where it gives you the whole norse phrase or word and you have to know the whole English translation. its pretty easy to know what word its looking for now as long as you understand what sounds the letters make.
