While not required to join in on the fun, VRChat was built to take advantage of VR headsets in many unique ways. That means avatars that flow with your movement, and systems that work alongside various hardware platforms to provide full-body tracking, finger tracking, and much, much more. Even if you’re jumping in on your phone or tablet, you’ll get to experience the magic of hanging out with people that feel like they’re really there – not just some character on a screen!

Everything here was built by the community using the VRChat SDK. Combined with Unity and Udon, our in-house scripting language, we give our users as much power as possible to build whatever their imaginations can conjure up.

But creation isn’t just limited to worlds.

VRChat provides a level of creative freedom that is unmatched anywhere else, and nowhere is that reflected best than on the avatars of our users. In VRChat, you can be anything, and explore your identity however you’d like. Want to be an alien? A talking dog? A sentient shoe with glowing bits that react to the beat of music by changing color? I mean, sure, if that’s what you’re about.

Ratings and reviews

I mainly use this app to see if my friends are online, or look at suggested worlds that I save for later. The app is missing some functionality I think it NEEDS as soon as possible: 1. You can't add/change profile pictures from the app. You have to upload photos via the website 2. You can't add/change your profile banners. Same as the issue before. 3. You can't change your bio from the app. Same as the previous issues. Other than that it runs great.

I don't know why it's stuck in portrait mode, but that's not my main issue, it keeps stopping/closing the app while on the login screen, making it annoying to do my conformation code or even enter my account info. After it crashed several times, I can't seem to edit my profile, or change my profile picture and banner at all. Which is kinda disappointing.

if you wanna fry an egg on your device, download this. it isnt super easy to run because it overheats the device and big 'click on someone to find out information about them' text on the top of the screen that will never go away even though it literally does take up half of the screen. pretty battery draining also. but either way, its not a bad port, and works.
