This app is 100% a scam. It's meant to trick users into installing it thinking it's the official Wyze home app and requires a credit card to "set up" your user account, saying it won't charge you for anything. Of course, it charges you immediately and the charges keep coming. Blatantly illegal. It's embarrassing that Google even allows apps like this in the app store. Do not download!!

This is one of those Chinese fake scam apps. it is not the true Wyze app. It requires your credit card to "activate" an account, saying you will not be charged. Once you put your card in it then says you won't be charged for 2 days and then it'll be $34.90 a month. the $34.90 was on my card within 10 minutes.

this app requires a credit card. I wish I knew b4 purchase. it's useless since I have no intention of putting a credit card on hold for no reason on a bathroom scale app. waste of money. my old scale had same features and no credit card requirement. ugh!
