About this app
VSP Phone is the softphone for your organisation's phone system. It puts
your work extension on the phone you already carry, so you can take work
calls without a desk phone and without giving out your personal number.
SET UP IN ONE SCAN
Your operator sends you a setup link or shows you a QR code. Scan it once
and your extension is live. There is no account to create, no password to
choose, and nothing to configure.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Call any colleague by extension, or anyone else by number
- Receive calls on your extension, with your work number as the caller ID
- Ring even when the app is closed, so you do not have to leave it open
- See your recent calls, spot the ones you missed, and return them in one
tap
- Look up anyone in your organisation's directory by name or extension
- Mute, switch to speaker, and hang up from the in-call screen
WHILE YOU ARE ON A CALL
Incoming calls appear the way any other call does on your phone, on the
lock screen included. Answer, decline, or let it go to voicemail.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Calls between your phone and the network are encrypted. Your SIP
credentials are held in the Android Keystore and never leave the device.
The app does not read your contacts, and your personal number is never
shown to the people you call from it.

VSP Phone cannot be used on its own. It needs an extension provisioned by
