About this app

Medoly is a media player for lyrics. Medoly can play music files stored in your device.

[How to Use]

1. Launch the app and open the main screen.
2. Press the search button to open the search screen.
3. Search for music and add it to the playback queue.
4. Return to the main screen, select the music you want to play from the playback queue, and start playback.

[Features & Functions]

This app has two major features.

1. Lyrics Display Function

Displays the lyrics for the music file being played.

For synchronized lyrics data, the lyrics scroll automatically in sync with the music.
Currently supports the following lyrics formats:
- External lyric files (*.lrc, *.kra, *.txt)
- External subtitle files (*.srt, *.stl, *.scc, *.ssa, *.ass, *.xml)
- Built-in synchronized lyrics (SYLT/SLT (ID3v2), LYR (Lyrics3v2))
- Embedded asynchronous lyrics (USLT/ULT, LYRICS, @lyr, WM/Lyrics, Lyrics, ILYC, UNSYNCEDLYRICS, UNSYNCED LYRICS)

For asynchronous lyrics, the scrolling speed automatically adjusts to match the overall length of the lyrics.

2. Search Function

Search music files by combining multiple criteria.
Efficiently locate target music files within large music libraries.

Ratings and reviews

Hard to learn ... AT FIRST! But, if you take the time to learn it, it's really worth it. Unusual UI makes it more difficult to master. Once you understand how it's setup, then you'll love it. Great at displaying lyrics ( SYLT or USLT). Nice work on displaying Art Covers as well as the lyrics. Scrolls even unsynchronized lyrics through a smart algorithm Not perfect but certainly better than no scrolling). Give it a try mainly if you enjoy lyrics with your music.

When there was a previous installation of v.3.xx, then v.4.xx does not function correctly. V.4.0.x: 1. App do not synchronize lyrics during playback. V.3.9.6: 1. App randomly stops playing over Bluetooth. 2. How can I force Medoly to rescan Media Storage? New songs (newly added to the file system) do not shows up in the songs list (choosing songs by Storage; other tabs do not works too). 3. How can I reload Playlist's list? It do not renew automatically at all and shows nonexistent items.

wow. ive been looking for a player that plays my embedded synced lyrics. keep up developing please. thanks. although the ui is a lot different from others, itll take a lot of getting used to. :-D maybe if you can add equalizer settings, and somekind of smartplaylist (song similarity / mood matrix)
