Waitery Cashier is the front-of-house point of sale for restaurants running on the Waitery platform.

Seat guests on a live floor plan, take orders, fire them to the kitchen, and settle bills — cash, card, or split — from one landscape tablet at the counter.

ALWAYS-ON PRINTING
Waitery Cashier keeps a persistent connection to your restaurant's print queue so kitchen tickets keep printing even when no one is signed in, across shift changes, and after reboots. Receipts and bills print when a cashier is signed in. While the listener is active the app shows a "Listening for print jobs" notification.

CARD DATA STAYS ON THE TERMINAL
Card payments are captured on your Clover payment hardware. Waitery Cashier never sees or stores card numbers.

MADE FOR RESTAURANT HARDWARE
Designed for landscape Android tablets. Supports Star and ESC/POS network printers on your local network.

REQUIRES A WAITERY RESTAURANT ACCOUNT
This app is for staff of restaurants that use Waitery. To connect a tablet, a manager generates a pairing code in the Waitery Restaurant Panel; staff then sign in with their personal PIN. There is no self-serve sign-up inside the app.

What’s new

Bills, tips, discounts and refunds now show the server-calculated amounts everywhere (no on-device math). Refund flow hardened, including cash refunds and drawer handling. Print reliability fixes: bill, receipt and end-of-day report printing with clear "sent, not confirmed" feedback. Connection stability improvements and terminal pairing fixes. This version requires the updated Waitery server.
