About this app

Track your daily steps with WalkMining and view your activity and WKM rewards.

Step tracking
WalkMining counts steps using your phone's sensors by default. On supported devices, you can choose Health Connect as the source of your step data. Reading steps through Health Connect requires your permission. The phone app supports Android 6.0 or later; Health Connect availability depends on your device and Android version.

Wear OS companion app
View step counts and mining tickets received from the connected WalkMining phone app on your watch. The Wear OS app requires the phone app and displays data received from it.

Mini-games and WKM
Lucky Draw offers entry using your WKM balance or free entry through an ad. WKM may be awarded based on the draw result. Lucky Slot offers WKM rewards based on a random outcome after participation through an ad. Winning, reward amounts, and rewards greater than the WKM used are not guaranteed.
In the Shop, WKM can be exchanged for listed products and gift cards. Check the available items and their exchange conditions before using WKM.

Permissions and access
• Physical activity: used to count steps with your phone's sensors. A foreground service supports step counting while you are outside the app screen.
• Health Connect: step-reading permission is required if you choose Health Connect as your step source.
• App notifications: permission to display WalkMining notifications is separate from notification access below.
• Optional notification access: on Android 14 or later in phone-sensor mode, this access is used to schedule a restart of the step-counting service when a WalkMining notification is removed. You can skip this step.
• Storage on older Android versions: image saving uses storage-write permission on Android 9 or earlier. The app also includes storage-read permission for Android 12L or earlier. These permissions do not apply to every Android version.

Ratings and reviews

I really like the concept of this app, and it has great potential. However, it only tracks steps using the phone, and there is no option to sync with Google Fit or Fitbit. Since I don’t carry my phone with me everywhere, a lot of my steps don’t get counted. If the app could sync with wearables, it would be much more useful. Until then, it doesn’t work for my needs.

more than half a year of no stock for the reward, i think the application has been abandoned by the developer, but they still got income for users that think that is still hope for rewards

I have been using this app daily for over a year and have not acquired enough token to cash out for the minimum. other similar apps are better. I would not recommend using this app it's just a waste of time
