WalkMining is a Healthfi Move to Earn service that aims to build a bridge ecosystem between health and finance.

WalkMining incentivizes users by allowing them to earn rewards by simply counting their steps. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value!

WalkMining records step data based on sensors, algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

WalkMining uses data powered by Google Fit.

The WalkMining Wear app provides real-time step count information based on Google Fit data.
Easily check your current steps directly on your Wear OS device.

WalkMining is a healthcare reward service where users can “earn rewards” by walking. The accumulated points (WKM) can be used to play games and purchase physical products from the reward shop.

Required Permissions

[Phone]
- Used to verify the unique ID and network status.
[Physical Activity]
- Used to provide step count data.
[Foreground Execution Permission]
- Allows the WalkMining app to continuously measure the user's step count using sensors.

Optional Permissions
[Storage]
- Used for sharing mini-game results, changing profile pictures, and handling customer support.
[Notification Read Permission]
- Supports uninterrupted step count measurement by checking whether the phone’s foreground notifications are active. This permission only checks the notification status and is not used for any other tasks.

! Optional permissions are not required to use the service and can be changed at any time in your phone settings.
! For Android versions below 6.0, the option to grant or revoke these permissions may not be available.

Ratings and reviews

I really like the concept of this app, and it has great potential. However, it only tracks steps using the phone, and there is no option to sync with Google Fit or Fitbit. Since I don’t carry my phone with me everywhere, a lot of my steps don’t get counted. If the app could sync with wearables, it would be much more useful. Until then, it doesn’t work for my needs.

very much crappie. doesn't make sense to have a step counter if it's not accumulating points for you. too many ads as well. they are capitalizing off you without you even noticing it... sadly. do better app developers please stop the 3rd party profit bs.

very slow and frustrating to collect your points I uninstall before I could cash out so can't say if it's a scam or not, but not worth your time.
