About this app

Wallot is an independent app. It is not a government entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government agency.

Your ballot gets counted once every few years. Companies vote every day — with lobbyists. Your dollars vote every day too.

Wallot shows you who's really behind the products in your cart. Scan a grocery barcode and see the parent company's documented record — lawsuits, fines, lobbying spend, labor cases, environmental actions — every item cited to a public source you can tap and read yourself.

HOW IT WORKS
• Scan a barcode, or search a company by name
• We resolve product → brand → parent company
• Get the glance: letter grade, the political-money picture, and a "see the receipts" list of every documented claim with its sources

EVERY CLAIM HAS A SOURCE
No rumors, no vibes. Each item in a dossier links to the public record it came from — court documents, regulatory actions, federal lobbying disclosures, campaign-finance filings, and established news reporting. If a claim can't be sourced, it doesn't appear. Company not in the record yet? The app researches it and the finished dossier joins the shared public record for everyone.

WHERE THE GOVERNMENT DATA COMES FROM
Wallot is not a government entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government agency. The government information in a dossier is republished from these official public sources, each linked inside the app so you can open the original:
• Federal Election Commission — https://www.fec.gov/data/
• U.S. Senate Lobbying Disclosure — https://lda.senate.gov/system/public/
• U.S. House Lobbying Disclosure — https://disclosurespreview.house.gov/
• SEC EDGAR — https://www.sec.gov/edgar/search/
• EPA ECHO — https://echo.epa.gov/
• U.S. Department of Justice — https://www.justice.gov/news
• Federal Trade Commission — https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/cases-proceedings
• U.S. Department of Labor — https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd
• OSHA — https://www.osha.gov/enforcement
• EEOC — https://www.eeoc.gov/newsroom
• FDA — https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations
• Federal courts (PACER) — https://pacer.uscourts.gov/

AN HONEST GRADE
The A–F grade is computed by a fixed rubric over the documented record — evidence-tiered and severity-weighted, the same math for every company. The grade is our opinion, reached consistently from documented facts you can check.

FREE AND PLUS
Free: 5 scans per week of companies already in the record, plus 5 company-search opens.
Wallot Plus — $9.99/month or $99.99/year:
• Unlimited dossier views
• 10 new-company research runs per month (need more? 5 extra runs for $7.99)

Wallot is independent: no ads, no sponsors, no data brokers, no accounts. We don't even ask for your email.

Note: Wallot summarizes publicly available records about companies. Grades and summaries are opinion based on the cited sources; they are not statements of fact beyond what those sources document. Wallot is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company it covers. Wallot is not a government entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government agency; government information is republished from the official sources listed above.
Scan a barcode. See the company's record — lawsuits, lobbying, and its grade.
