About this app

Bring misty peaks, warm sunsets, and starry skies to your home screen.

Mountain Weather is a mountain live wallpaper for Android that changes with the time of day and weather data for your chosen location. Watch clouds drift above layered peaks, rain sweep across the landscape, and stars appear as evening fades.

Choose your mountain view
Switch between Misty Mountains and Cartoon Mountains. Enjoy atmospheric scenery or give your home screen a colorful illustrated look. Turn on wallpaper scrolling for a parallax effect as you swipe between home screen pages.

Watch day turn into night
Enjoy a day and night live wallpaper with changing light, mountain mist, and sunlit peaks. Adjust the night brightness to suit your style, and enable shooting stars that appear when the starry sky is visible.

Let the weather shape your wallpaper
Use your device location or select a city to create a weather live wallpaper that updates with retrieved weather conditions. Explore seven scenes: clear, cloudy, rain, sleet, snow, storm, and fog. You can also select a weather effect manually to preview a different atmosphere.

Make the details your own
Adjust cloud speed and density, rain and snow intensity, and wind effects. Change the sun's color and size, and choose whether to show clouds, trees, the sun, and the moon. Customize rainbows, birds, nighttime fireflies, and raindrops on the screen.

Use your own background
Choose an image from your device to replace the default scenery with a personal background. Preview your settings in the app, then apply your live wallpaper through the system wallpaper screen.

Adjust animation and weather updates
Choose how often weather data refreshes. A power saving mode lowers the animation frame rate and reduces weather particles.

Good to know
Automatic weather updates require an internet connection. Location permission is needed when using your device location; you can select a city manually instead. Wallpaper scrolling depends on your device and home screen launcher.

The app contains ads and offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove them.
