"WanShare" is a weather and hazard map app designed for walks with your dog, offering a "dog-centric" perspective. All features are free.
Can we go for a walk today? Is it too hot? Will it rain? Are there any dangerous objects on the road?
This app answers all four of these questions that dog owners think about every day.
[We deliver official data directly from the Japan Meteorological Agency and the Ministry of the Environment]
The weather forecasts and rain radar displayed by "WanShare" are all based on data published by the Japan Meteorological Agency. The heat index (WBGT) is based on values published by the Ministry of the Environment.
We do not display any unique predictions or independently calculated values. We do not estimate or display perceived temperature or road surface temperature. We only deliver officially published data as is, without any processing.
Because the information source is clear, you can use it with confidence to make informed decisions.
[1. Weather for Dog Walks]
General weather apps are designed for "people." However, for dogs, who walk close to the ground, barefoot, and covered in fur, the information they need is slightly different.
* Hourly Weather, Temperature, and Probability of Precipitation
You can see at a glance when it's best to go out.
* Rain Cloud Radar
You can check the movement of rain clouds on a map for the next hour. You can avoid sudden rain and return home without getting wet.
* Heatstroke Risk (WBGT Index)
The heat index published by the Ministry of the Environment is displayed as is. You can check the appropriate level of exercise for today in a 5-level system based on the Japan Sports Association guidelines.
* Warning about Paw Pad Burns
We will notify you of times when the asphalt is hot.

[2. Sharing Dangers During Walks on a Map]
There have been reports of troubles across the country where suspicious or dangerous objects are intentionally scattered on walking routes, which is something that dog lovers can never tolerate.
Suspicious white powder lying on the side of the road. Food mixed with nails and glass shards. Unattended dog feces.
To protect our precious family members who cannot verbally warn us of danger, we believe a "communication network" is necessary for pet owners to share local information in real time.
* Pin dangerous locations on the map immediately
Posting is easy and will immediately appear on the screens of other pet owners walking in the area.
* Provide detailed information with photos and text
You can take photos of the shape and condition of suspicious objects and post them. Adding explanations such as, "There's white powder in a paper cup under the bench," allows other pet owners to accurately perceive the danger at the scene. This also serves as a source of information when consulting with the police or local government.
* Check your route before walking
You can make decisions such as, "There's unattended dog feces ahead, let's avoid it," or "There's been a report of a suspicious object in the next park, let's take a different route today."
