"WanShare" is a dog walking safety measures and information sharing app designed to make daily walks with your beloved dog safer and more enjoyable.

Our goal is to create a society where dogs and their owners can live safely and happily, free from tragic incidents and accidents.

In recent years, tragic incidents that are absolutely unacceptable to dog lovers have been reported throughout Japan, such as the intentional scattering of suspicious or dangerous objects along walking routes.

To protect our precious family members (our dogs), who cannot express their danger in words, we believe a "communication network" is necessary, where owners can work together and share local information in real time.

The complacency of thinking, "It's okay because we always walk this route," can lead to irreversible consequences. Suspicious white powder on the roadside, food mixed with nails or glass shards, and even abandoned dog feces (some of which carry the risk of infectious diseases)—dangers that threaten your dog's life and health lurk along walking routes.

"WanShare" allows you to easily pin (post) information about suspicious objects or dog waste you find during your walks onto a map from the spot. Posted information is shared in real time with other dog owners walking in the area via the app.

This allows you to anticipate risks to your dog and take evasive action, such as changing your route, quickly.

Currently, many dog ​​owners are using social media to warn others about things like "dangerous objects scattered in the neighborhood" or "sharp glass shards lying around."

With typical timeline-style social media, information gets lost over time, and there's a major problem in that it doesn't reach "fellow dog walkers in the same area" who truly need the information in a timely manner.

Furthermore, not only suspicious objects but also "abandoned dog waste" due to poor manners is a serious problem. Leaving dog feces unattended not only spoils the scenery but also poses a significant hygiene risk, as it can transmit parasitic and viral infections to other dogs.

To address these "dangers and stresses during walks," we developed "WanShare."

By linking location information (GPS) and map data, we have created a service that allows you to understand "where" and "what kind of dangers" exist on a map.

Our goal is to ensure that "not a single beloved dog suffers a tragic accident." We want to develop this app together with you as a community-based security map to prevent tragedies.

If you find something suspicious, leftover feces, or a dangerous obstacle during your walk, you can launch the app and place a "pin" at that location.

2. Real-Time Confirmation of Pinned Danger Information within the Local Community
All information you post, as well as highly accurate information posted by other users, is reflected in real time on a shared map. Checking the map before setting out for a walk or while walking allows for proactive risk avoidance, such as "There's abandoned dog poop ahead on this route, let's avoid it" or "There's been a report of a suspicious object near the next park, let's take a different route today." By everyone carefully watching out for their surroundings, the entire community can transform into a safe shelter for dogs.

3. Suspicious Object Information Can Be Posted in Detail with "Photos" and "Text Descriptions"
You can take photos with your smartphone camera and post them, as the shape and condition of suspicious objects are difficult to convey with words alone.
