About this app

WAR4 is back so that underground rap demos, tapes, and albums can keep playing.

Explore a curated archive of Creative Commons licensed works, discover artists and groups, listen to full songs, and create your own tape collection. The app retains the feel of the original website with a modern, fast, and music-focused experience.

ON WAR4 YOU CAN:

• Stream demos, tapes, singles, and compilations.

• Continue listening to music with the screen locked or through headphones and Bluetooth devices.

• Search for artists, groups, works, and songs.

• Discover featured releases and listen to random tracks.

• View credits, year, tracks, and license for each release.

• Share works and songs.

• Create your tape collection, rate, like, and comment after logging in.

• Block users and report comments or posts.

• Suggest improvements to optimize the archive's storage space. • Create an author profile, claim an existing entry, and submit music for review.

Listening is free and doesn't require an account. We only request access when you want to participate, save content, or upload your own work. Every submission from the community is reviewed before appearing in the catalog.

WAR4 is independent culture: rap from the community, digital archives, and unfiltered music.
