OFFICIAL DATA SOURCES
Registered sex offender information comes from the public state sex offender registries, as listed by the Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW), U.S. Department of Justice:
• NSOPW: https://www.nsopw.gov
• Every state's official registry: https://www.nsopw.gov/all-registries
In the app, each record links to its official registry.

Crime and incident information comes from the open-data portals of local police departments and city governments, for example:
• City of Chicago: https://data.cityofchicago.org
• City of Los Angeles: https://data.lacity.org
• City of Milwaukee: https://data.milwaukee.gov
In the app, each incident names the agency that published it and links to its dataset. Full list of sources: https://wardenmap.com/sources

Registry and incident data can be incomplete or out of date. Warden is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
