About this app

Timestand turns your phone into a clock for your desk or bedside table. Stand it up and plug it in to see the time, your notifications and your next meeting without picking up the phone.

The clock fills a dark screen in large, easy-to-read numbers. At night it dims to a softer grey so it doesn't light up the room. The screen stays on while Timestand is open.

Tap the screen to open a sidebar with two tabs:

• Notifications lists what's waiting on your phone, with the newest first. When a new notification arrives, the sidebar opens on its own so you can read it from across the desk.
• Calendar lists your events for today and the next four days. You can choose which calendars to show.

A line under the clock shows your next event today, with its time and how many more events are left in the day.

Turn the phone on its side for a large clock with the sidebar beside it. Stand it upright for the clock above a list that's always showing.

The clock moves a few pixels every minute to protect OLED screens from burn-in.

Timestand has no ads, no accounts and no internet access. Your notifications and calendar never leave your phone.
