The fibre is a flexible tube you can bend joint by joint, with the source on the left and the receiver on the right. Light travels along it a section at a time, and a bend that is too sharp leaks light and dims the beam. Shape the cable into a route that carries the light into the receiver to clear the level — whatever intensity is left when it arrives is your score. Losing too much light and failing to reach the receiver costs a miss, and three misses end the run.
