I don't quite understand why you are against using English subtitles. 2 reviewers have suggested you should develop your own player. The app looks feels and operates merely as a 'work in progress' You have a massive data base of superb works by superbly creative people. Why not let the whole world enjoy their works?

Assumed it would have a choice of language subtitles, but nothing.

Very good app, shame on the people who reviewed this down just cause it doesn't contain a feature they looking for . One should support developers.
