CELEST5404 Retro Digital Watch renders its LCD panel as a backlit display, with glowing segment digits sitting on an illuminated ground rather than the flat grey of an unlit screen, which is the look every 1980s digital watch had for about five seconds at a time.

The panel carries the hours and minutes in large segment digits with the seconds in a smaller readout alongside, the weekday abbreviation centered above them, the date to the right and the AM or PM indicator to the left. An indicator bar runs beneath the panel with a 12-24H marking. All six of the color variations change the LCD background and the segment color together, so the display stays coherent rather than becoming a mismatched panel.
