The date read by a hand, not through a window. CELEST5435 Military Watch prints a full 1 to 31 calendar around the outer ring and points to today with its own tipped hand, which is how mechanical watches indicated the date before the aperture took over.

Inside that ring sits a proper field dial: large white hour numerals on a dark ground, shield-shaped accent markers at the hour positions, and sword hands with pale fills over a thin seconds hand. The last few dates on the ring are picked out in the accent color so the end of the month is visible at a glance. This military watch face also carries 4 invisible complication placements you can set up as app shortcuts, so apps open on a tap with no icons on the dial, and it comes in 9 color variations.
