In the style of farming simulators like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley comes the Complicated Ape Watch Face!

For a simpler, less customizable option with option for bigger time check out the Simply Stardew watch face, coming soon!

Designed for larger watches running the later Wear OS operating systems like the Galaxy Watch Ultra, but has features to enhance readability for smaller watches as well! This watch face changes with the time, moon phase, weather, and seasons.

The Complicated Ape watch face has, among other things:

- 10 Watch and AOD Companions
- 12 weather icons that change with current weather
- 4 seasonal icons that cycle with the time and date
- 8 moon phase icons in the round day dial synced to the moon phases
- 4 seasonal daytime backgrounds
- 2 seasonal nighttime backgrounds (Spring/Summer/Fall and Winter)
- Option to change Hemisphere which alters seasonal backgrounds, and moon phases
- 10 Interface colors
- 10 Display colors
- 15 Text/Complication colors
- 10 Selectable Date formats
- Top Info Panel that can be changed from Temperature to Heart Rate
- Journal Icon popup when you have notifications
- Customizable Weather Slot with 9 Woo (Romancing) Items and Weapons
- Customizable Season Slot with Northern Hemisphere Season, Southern Hemisphere Season, and 8 Tool and Travel Items

All customization options can selected usually by long pressing the watch face and tapping "customize".

****DISCLAIMER: While it would be preferable in ideal circumstances, it is NOT recommended to use your phones watch settings app like Samsung Wear, Google Pixel Watch, or equivalent app to customize the watch on your phone due to a well known bug that causes long loading times or loading timeout in the wear software with complex watch faces. This is an issue found across many watch faces and is the cause of many negative reviews on most developers watches and is unfortunately outside our control.

I have reduced the watches file size from 6.83mb to 2.75mb to try and mitigate these loading issues. If the customization options from your watch have trouble loading as well or won't load at all, contact me with your order details for a refund.****

There is also 10 On Screen and AOD watch companions (introduced a new Duck companion!)

AOD Companions are in the same spot as the watch companion, so you can choose the AOD companion to be different if you would like.

Watch companions now sleep and will snore when tapped!

Also included are 2 side complications, 2 top complications, and one bottom left complication, but the watch face looks best with its stock configuration.

When the date is tapped, the calendar opens. When the time is tapped, the alarm opens. The Battery bar when tapped opens the battery status.

The date options have various sizes and formats to help with language localization issues, so if your language crops the date choose another option, likely the smaller sized date formats. Alternatively you could go with either of the last 2 options which are in Month Day Year and Day Month Year formats.

12 Hour Time has a blinking colon to indicate seconds.

In the Weather Slot are available 9 Woo (Romance) items and Weapons. They are:

Heart (Wedding Day Icon), Bouquet, Mermaid Pendant, Void Pendant, Purple Shorts, Infinity Blade, Infinity Hammer, Infinity Dagger, and Master Slingshot.

The Season Slot has Northern and Southern Hemisphere current seasons, and 8 other Iridium Tools and Travel items which are:

Fishing Rod, Axe, Pickaxe, Hoe, Watering Can, Scythe, Horse Flute, and Return Scepter.

I love it! it's very customizable, its cute and it shows what i need for it to show. It is very slow to customise from phone but I could do it easily directly on the watch. At first i thought the background would change from day to night automatically, that would be an awesome feature to have. Thank you for your work!

While I like this watch face, it recently became a pain. either I haven't noticed it before or because of an update, the clock reacts to my wrists orientation, getting bigger when directly looked at. the added movement is really distracting and the text isnt even formatted properly for the size of the box (the PM is cut off). it seems like there is no way to change this, which I do not like. also, it feels like customizing it became really slow too. i am happy to return if fixed (galaxy watch 5)

I love this watch face - I've kept it simple and am keeping a basic interface because that's my preferred style. there are a LOT of customisation options though if you prefer to change it up. I found that more customisation causes the app settings to open much slower, so keep that in mind. I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 classic.
