Sexual predators targeting children online is a scary reality. The OffenderWatch family safety app helps parents protect their children from the unthinkable. Family location sharing allows parents to track their children on a map and see if registered sex offenders live nearby. Parents can also search for registered sex offenders by name or address, see the photo and details about an offender, submit-a-tip about the offender, contact local law enforcement, and get an alert should a registered sex offender move in nearby. (Offender data is for US states only and limited to those offenders published by the state) The OffenderWatch app includes friendly advice and articles about protecting your child at home and online.



Unlike other apps, OffenderWatch has partnered with law enforcement to bring the most complete and correct data on registered sex offenders available. Parents subscribe to receive alerts should their child get contacted by a registered sex offender by text or phone call. Parents also receive location alerts should their child linger near a registered sex offender’s home.

How the OffenderWatch monitoring Works




1 Monitor Your Child’s Device



The OffenderWatch app monitors who calls or messages your child, and tracks the location on of child’s iPhone—working silently in the background and not interfering with the phone’s use.



2 Check Against Sex Offender Data



We use the most accurate data available. It is provided directly by the law enforcement agencies who manage registered sex offenders. The app checks to see if a registered sex offender is attempting to contact your child or if your child is lingering near an offender’s address.

Ratings and reviews

Their website spins you in circles pushing you towards their "free app" and then of course when you download it they ask for your credit information so they can bill you for a service you know absolutely nothing about. Didn't list anything about a subscription from what I read on the website and I can't stand companies that rely on manipulation tactics to sell product. Usually when they do that it's because the product can't sell itself.

app doesn't work very well. works occasionally, main problem is that it will give you the list of offenders around you but then you must go to another site in order to look them up also if you try to look up a location and you don't know the ZIP code you must go then go to Google to get the ZIP code to go back onto this site it's very convoluted It's too hard to use

Finding offenders in your area should be a simple search and then a map. This? This is a money grab. The website is awful. The app is awful. Pushing you to pay for what the registry is supposed to give for free. The people behind this are terrible and greedy, and probably deserve a registry all their own for trying to make profit off of public safety. Despicable doesn't even cover it.
