About this app

This app is simple and easy way to remotely measure, monitor and control water in apartments using WaterOn meters. You can now view your home’s consumption in real time, get alerted on any leaks and prevent wastage.

New Features:

The new WaterOn app is here-this will give you more detailed consumption trends.There is lot to explore, but here's a quick overview:

New - Today’s consumption - the new home screen shows today’s total consumption. The slider at the bottom shows consumption in 2 hour slots. Tapping on the daily total will show you the consumption for the week.

View your home’s last 3 months consumption - You can drill down to a specific week and/or month. The consumption is shown using simple to understand bar chart.

New - Valve Operation- Close and open valve instantly by pressing a button. A countdown of 5 seconds avoids accidental operation. You will get a notification on completion. A word of caution - this facility is only to be used in the case of an abnormal flow, or in case you are leaving the apartment closed for extended periods of time. It is not expected to be used as an alternative to the tap.

Ratings and reviews

The new update(as of May 1st) brought the annoying tips screen that you have to skip every time. Please provide an option to turn the tips screen permanently. It just shows one tip which is not really helpful. Update : The developer / Team took my feedback and updated the app. The app is now super smooth and it serves its purpose to the fullest. Thanks to the team.

This app is incredibly poorly designed. It's nearly impossible to tell if a button is currently on or off, and the values displayed are completely meaningless. Are they liters? Gallons? Barrels? Kilograms? There's no way to know! The text alignment on the buttons is also a mess. I couldn't even turn off the flow when I tried. I am going to install a manual stopper tap control on top of this. I cannot completely depend on this app and I cannot remove it because the entire society is using it.

We were one among the early customers back in 2020. Right from the beginning we had some or other issues like readings were not correct, meters malfunctioning, app keeps having issues with caching and showing incorrect data, etc. Every month the consumption report will show 0 for many flats. We have to raise the ticket and they will fix it for that month. We are unable to charge the residents in a fair manner. I would suggest not to go for it unless it is 100% needed.
