Within the framework of Ecopetrol's daily operations, officials have the need to travel between the different locations where Ecopetrol operates. Therefore, Ecopetrol has a fleet that it makes available to its employees for field transportation and the need to connect supply with demand in an optimal way has been identified to make efficient use of the fleet. It should be noted that there are two types of fleet use, occasional or by-call transport services and permanent services (routes).
Galiot is an application to request or use transport services in its different modalities for the regions of Orinoquía, Campo Rubiales and Casabe. In this application we can see in real time the waiting time, the duration of the trip, information about the vehicle and the driver, among other information.
