Why does Flurrio require people to be at least 18 years old to sign up?
We want to ensure Flurrio is a safe environment for everyone, and have the age restriction for two important reasons. Studies have shown that social media can be detrimental to the mental health of teenagers. Additionally, Flurrio allows for the sharing of mature content, and we require people to be an appropriate age in case they encounter such content on the platform.
How does Flurrio handle your data?
We take your privacy very seriously, and created Flurrio to allow people to share important moments with their friends and family without having to give up the ownership of their images and video to big tech companies.
To cover the costs of running the platform, we do need to show some advertising on Flurrio. We never share your profile info or the content of your posts with ad providers, but in order to show more relevant ads, the ad providers may request to collect what ads you interact with, and limited device data (including advertising identifiers). It’s a necessary balance to achieve the goals of the platform while allowing the revenue to support it.

I like being able to share photos with friends and family without having the app own the creative rights to my media in perpetuity
