my vehicle got stolen this morning and I called waypoint to help me ping my car. The app could see the car but it wasn't refreshing for a moment. they sent a refreshed ping and it lit up right to the location and it was recovered within 3 hours of making a police report! I never had anything work so fast. I'm grateful to have had a waypoint installed because I don't think I ever would have found my car again without their help. They even called dispatch and had the police meet me. thanks again!

This product is awesome. The dealership I got my car from puts these trackers on all their cars. 4 days before the subscription was up someone I had known forever waited till I went to sleep, took my keys, stole my car and dumped it in the hood, we found it immediately. didnt realize you can setup a geofence and get notified by email or txt if it moves. have that setup now. they gave me a free year after hearing my story. replaced a defective device quickly too. recommend to everyone

Tracking suddenly stopped working 8 days ago for no reason. I have tried unplugging from my car and plugging back and its still not working. This was a dealer add on when I purchased the car but I didn't realize that it was simply a tracker that is plugged into the OBD II port until after I purchased the car and got in contact with Waypoint. So in the event of car theft, the theives would simply have to unplug the tracking adaptor from the OBD II port and thats it.
