Every video receives an Age Fit Score before your child sees it. WayTube evaluates each individual video — not just the channel — and only shows the ones that meet the standard you set for your child's age.

WHAT THE AGE FIT SCORE DOES

WayTube scores every video across 7 criteria, calibrated to your child's age:


Age appropriateness — matched to cognitive and emotional development
Language level — appropriate reading and comprehension difficulty
Content safety — no violence, explicit, or harmful content
Learning value — genuinely educational, not just time-fill
Thinking skills — content that encourages curiosity, not passive watching
Engagement quality — no reward loops, autoplay traps, or infinite scroll
Cultural sensitivity — no stereotyping or one-sided framing


Unlike parental control tools that only block content at the channel level, WayTube scores each individual video. One off-brand upload in an otherwise good channel gets caught before it reaches your child.

HOW IT WORKS

A parent sets up the child's profile — age, language, and Age Fit Score threshold. From that moment, the child only sees videos that have passed their score. Parental controls are protected by a PIN and accessed through the padlock icon.
