When this product worked, it was great! Support from the developer was also fantastic. Unfortunately, I bought my Wayzn in July 2023 and by October 2024 it was having issues, and is now completely unusable due to hardware issues. $500 is far too expensive for a product like this to only last less than 1.5 years. The only option to fix is to spend $225 more for a refurbished unit. It just doesn't really say Wayzn "stands by their product". Actuators and motor drivers can be had for $80 combined.

Okay, so initially I left a poor review for this product and this company. We've definitely dealt with some technical difficulties and had to swap out two devices. I must say though that the company and customer service has been impeccable! I even got a call this morning from the co-founder! We did some troubleshooting and my Wayzn is working like a charm. This device is an absolute game changer for myself and my family! Give Wayzn a try and don't give up on it! It really is an amazing product.

On the Android app, two different phones, no keyboard appears when trying to log into Amazon to set up Alexa. Can't even cut and paste username and password. Had to go through set up all over again on an iPhone instead, and after all that Alexa still doesn't work. She just says OK when you ask her to open the door, but it doesn't open or even attempt to.

There was an OS related change that impacted our keyboard when locking onto Amazon for certain devices. We have the fix in place we're just awaiting app approval. There are some common issues for Alexa not working. Please see our support site or setup a meeting we're happy to talk in person to get it resolved.
