About this app

WalkingData is an internal business application for logging work shifts and tracking company vehicles.

The app is intended exclusively for employees of companies using the WalkingData system. Sign-in codes are issued by a company administrator - there is no public sign-up, and the app cannot be used without a code you have been given.

LOCATION COLLECTION
WalkingData collects location data in the background - including when the app is closed - so that the record of a work shift is complete and so that a supervisor can see if a worker leaves the safe zone.

Collection begins only when a worker starts a shift and stops as soon as they log out. Location is not tracked outside working hours. While a shift is active, a persistent notification is shown in the status bar.

Data is used solely for work logging, safety monitoring and dispatching. It is not sold and not shared with advertisers.

Account deletion is available directly in the app and from the sign-in screen.
