I'm 48 years old and have always watched WDBJ7 NEWS AND WEATHER since I was around 5yo. I watch the radar on the WDBJ7 WEATHER APP and I'm very disappointed in the accuracy. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at the live, past and future radar and it hasn't been accurate at all. It will be pouring rain at my house and the radar shows there are no storms or even clouds in my area. Other times the radar shows heavy rain and I'll never even get a drop. This is very frustrating!!!

This app is a bit annoying. It takes 5 seconds for the splash screen to go away and see the weather details. It's almost as bad as YouTubers with intros. Also, the pop-up notification is awful. Looks like a Microsoft Paint collage. Other than that, it's just a typical weather app. Oh, and there's nothing but awful Temu ads with half naked women. I'm only using this because AccuWeather seems to not care that their app hasn't worked in two weeks.

Data is good but the app could use some improvements. First, the ads can be a bit much, some are even nasty. I would gladly pay a one-time charge to remove them. Second, every single time you open the app it will show the main loading screen for a few seconds. There are other issues but they would put me over the word limit here. While not a problem, multiple "local weather station" apps use this exact same framework. The ones I've used are all clones of each other. Found that interesting.
