About this app
Photos and videos from a modern phone are huge. A single 12-megapixel shot can be 4 MB, and a minute of 1080p video over 100 MB. This app makes them small enough to send — without uploading them anywhere, and without touching your originals.
NO ADS, NO INTERNET
The app does not request the INTERNET permission at all. Your photos never leave your phone, because the app has no way to send them. No ads, no trackers, no account, no sign-in.
YOUR ORIGINALS ARE NEVER CHANGED
Every compressed file is written as a new file in the "Compressed" album in your gallery. The original photo or video stays exactly where it was, at its original size. Nothing is overwritten, moved or deleted.
UP TO 20 FILES AT ONCE
Pick a mixed batch of photos and videos and compress them in one pass. You see each file's original size, its new size, and how much space you saved.
HONEST RESULTS
If a file cannot be made meaningfully smaller — because it was already compressed — the app says so, instead of showing a success and handing you a copy. If your settings would make a file larger, it tells you that too, and lets you keep the original.
