About this app

Website Saver & Downloader, save entire websites and read them offline, anywhere.

Most "save page" apps grab a single flat page. Website Saver saves the whole site: it follows the links on a page and downloads several levels deep, so articles, sub-pages, images, CSS and layout all live on your phone, ready when you are, even in airplane mode.

Saving runs in the background. Saving a full website can take from a few seconds to several minutes, so the download runs as a foreground service and keeps going even when your screen is off or you switch apps. While it runs you'll see an ongoing notification with the site being saved and live progress, plus Pause and Cancel buttons, you stay in control and can stop it any time. It stops the moment the site is fully saved or you cancel, and never runs in the background otherwise. No tracking. No ads.

Open a saved copy and the built-in viewer shows it exactly as it looked online, same text, same images, same layout, no internet needed. Internal links work, pages open instantly.

WHY PEOPLE USE WEBSITE SAVER
Read your favourite newspaper or tech blog on the subway or a flight. Keep travel guides handy on holiday with no signal. Save recipes, troubleshooting steps and work references you can't afford to lose. Archive a web page before it changes or disappears. Students stash research before exams; commuters load a full reading list at home, then breeze through it underground. If you loved read-it-later apps, you're home: save now, read offline later.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Download a full website with adjustable crawl depth, not just the page on screen
- Downloads keep running in the background with a progress notification, pause or cancel any time
- Save single pages to read offline in seconds

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Saved sites live in local storage, so they open instantly and work in airplane mode, dead zones, basements and tunnels. No subscription, no cloud account. Download over Wi-Fi and read later to save mobile data. Your library is yours, on your device.

HOW TO USE
1. Paste a URL into the address bar.
2. Tap Preview to load the page.
3. Tap Start save, Website Saver downloads the full site with depth, following links to grab the pages underneath. The progress notification lets you pause or cancel.
4. Open it anytime from your saved list, the local viewer shows your copy perfectly, online or off.

No account, no sign-in. Save a website today and read it whenever you like, on a plane, underground, abroad, or anywhere the signal drops.

Works well, but with irritating lack of options. The pages are downloaded into numbered subdirectories in the order in which they were saved. So if you downloaded Chapter 20, and the Index later, you shall have to open each file directly to discover which it is, then rename it.

It seems to only save the one page, not the whole website, and it saves very poorly, no photos, weird layout, etc. The browser on the phone can save one page perfectly, so i don't see the point in this app..
