Wecide is a movie night app for couples, friends and families who can't agree. Think of it as a movie picker, a movie match app and a movie swipe app with one rule: everyone swipes the same deck of films on their own phone, and a film is a match only when all of you like it. Nobody gets outvoted by the loudest person on the couch, and nobody has to say "just pick a movie for me" and hope for the best. Pick a movie together and skip the endless scrolling.

📲 Invite in one tap

Your room opens like a cinema marquee with a seat for every friend. Send the invite and the seats light up as friends arrive. Friends join with just a name and the 4-digit code: no account, no sign-up. Up to 8 people, same couch or different cities.

On iPhone? Friends can join from your invite link in their browser with just a name, no install. The host needs the Android app.

🎬 Pick the kind of night

Start from a ready-made night or build your own:

Only want well-reviewed films? Set the bar to good, great or top rated (6.5, 7 or 7.5 and up on TMDB) and the deck leaves the rest out. The host picks a 5, 10 or 15-minute round.

🎞️ Movie or series?

Swipe films, swipe TV shows, or mix both in one deck. Same rule: a match only when everyone likes it, so tonight's good movie or series is one you all said yes to.

📺 Everyone brings their services

Each friend ticks the streaming services they pay for. The deck only deals films someone in the room can stream in the host's country, on a subscription or for free. Rentals and purchases are left out, so you never match on a film nobody can watch tonight.

👆 Swipe, star or pass

Swipe right to like, left to pass. Got a film you'll defend to the end? Swipe up to give it your one Super Like of the round. Tap any card for the poster, the rating and the full synopsis.

🎉 It's a match

When everyone likes the same film, the match shows up as a gold ticket with where it's streaming. Send it to the group, keep swiping for more matches, end with a summary, or play again with a fresh deck.

📊 See who said no

No match? The summary shows the near misses, who liked what and who blocked your "absolute masterpiece." Someone missed the round? Send the films to the group: for up to two hours, anyone with the link can swipe the same deck and see how everyone voted.

🔁 Same crew next Friday

Start a new round with the same crew in one tap, and set a Friday reminder so your movie picker is ready when movie night starts. Switch it off whenever you like.
