There are features identified in the manual that are not in the app. For example, optimize. The app will do a hearing test but, no results are presented and no optimize to account for your test results. I had an audiologist report from my last hearing test. I used that to adjust the sound levels. I bought these to use a cheap spair. So far I do not have any issues with the Ballet 430S B+ hearing aids, only this app.

Generally works well. Note however that to connect the app with ear units both Bluetooth AND (unintuitively) GPS must be activated on your phone. Also, more distressingly, selections made in the app for frequency response (8 bands from 250 hz to 8 khz) for left and right ear units occasionally reset themselves to zero for no apparent reason. One hopes these issues will be addressed in the next update.

Overall it is OK. Needs a few improvements. It will not connect to the hearing aids unless "location" is turned on. Why does it need location to control a hearing aid, unless it is collecting your location for other purposes? If you go out of Bluetooth range of the phone and come back into range, it often will not see the hearing aids unless you turn them off and back on to re-pair them with the phone. It would also help if it would explain what the MPO adjustment is - and how to use it.

The use of Bluetooth Low Energy requires location permission, which is required by Google, so developers must also apply for location permission when doing these functions.
