Within the framework of a new Audiovisual Communication Services Law (26,522) that strengthens the right to information and the plurality of voices, Fm Wen- Quilmes Community Radio was born in 2009. Based in Quilmes, it accompanies the residents of the localities contiguous from the dial with frequency 93.7 Mhz and from www.fmwen.com.ar transmits to the whole world. Fm Wen is a radio with open doors and microphones that accepts and encourages public intervention, from the studio or from social networks. Its objectives as a community radio is to bring audiences closer to a non-profit environment and in which the entire community can participate, without distinction. For this, its programming aims to offer a wide variety of diverse content: Information, music, culture and sports. Fm Wen accompanies in all aspects: with his music, his members and his listeners. Musically it protects the multiplicity of genres from International to Tango music and from Retro to Rock, thus generating an audience of all ages and with its different tastes for which Fm Wen listeners often become active participants of the Radio to through programs, visits or solidarity campaigns generating conditions of solidarity and social intertwining beyond entertainment.
