About this app

Werjo is a digital-first local culture and events publication and city discovery app for Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa.

Werjo’s editorial team researches, writes, edits and publishes original articles about events, places, culture, food and city life across the capital region. Every Event and Place page is Werjo editorial coverage, not an automatically aggregated listing.

Our editorial content helps you understand what is happening across the capital region and find places and experiences worth your time. Explore Werjo’s editorial picks, guides, regularly updated event information and detailed place pages. Important details are checked against reliable and official sources, and published editorial content is reviewed before publication.

ONE CITY FEED
Browse events, places and local culture in one clear feed. Discover editorial recommendations, events matching interests selected by you, new events from places you follow and events liked by your friends.

FIND EVENTS YOUR WAY
Search by date, category and location. Use the dedicated free-events filter to find concerts, exhibitions, festivals, family activities, nightlife, culture and more without an entrance fee. Browse the full event list or explore events and places on the map.

EXPLORE PLACES
Discover museums, galleries, concert venues, clubs, cultural centres and other places across the Helsinki region. Place pages include descriptions, addresses, opening hours, contact details, maps, official links and upcoming events. Follow places to see their new events in your feed.

SAVE AND PLAN WITH FRIENDS
Like an event to save it inside Werjo. Your confirmed friends can see on the event page that you liked it. Invite friends to events and accept or decline invitations directly in the app.
Private profiles, friend controls and blocking tools help you decide who can find and interact with you.

BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
All events, places, maps, filters and place details are available without registration. Create an account only when you want to save events, follow places or use friend features.

STAY UP TO DATE
Receive a single daily notification about your saved events.

OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND TICKETS
Werjo brings essential event information together in a clear format. When tickets or registration are available, the app directs you to the official organiser or authorised ticketing website. Werjo does not sell tickets directly.

Organisers may update event details, so check the official source before attending.
Werjo is completely free to use and is available in Finnish, English, Swedish and Russian.

What’s new
