Sign-up for free through the app to get your prepaid WeSwap multi-currency Mastercard® in the post. Load your card securely with ££ using your normal debit card or bank account.

SPEND or SWAP
Spend in over 150 currencies worldwide (that’s pretty much all of them). Your card will auto-convert your home balance to the currency you're spending in. Or, you can hold and exchange up to 18 currencies in different wallets on your account in advance. You can lock in an even better rate by swapping your money to any of them upfront.

Ratings and reviews

Weswap used to be easy to use and hassle free travel money service. This new 'upgrade' just does not work! You can't load your account (service down since 10th Nov!!!), it seems temperamental when it allows you to even log in, and like other reviews no one answers emails or calls. Real shame as original weswap was excellent. This upgrade makes it redundant.

This was a successful reboot/rebrand/upgrade, wasn't it? Now about 2 months since I asked for help. Still nothing. Truly shocking. [Original] Unable to switch to 2.0. Only an automated response from Customer Support, which didn't even address my problem. It's now several weeks since I wrote, asking for help. Appalling customer service. Would be zero stars if that was possible. I'm very glad that, unlike some others who've left reviews here, my account was almost empty. Used to like WeSwap.

I'm stuck in the US with no way of loading my card and weswap won't respond to my emails. I can't call due to roaming and having a nightmare Edit after response: yes eventually I was able to use my card, I had to wait for 2 updates with no correspondance after the first update happened. (they only replied after each update). This left me without the money I had planned (and saved all year) for over 10 days. I was unable to do lots of things due to this and was under constant stress.
