WEUR 1490-AM is a time-brokered radio station licensed to Oak Park, IL. The station has served the Chicagoland community since 1951. WEUR hosts entertainment, news, and special interest radio programs for various ethnic and cultural groups. While the majority of our programming is Polish language news, talk, sports, and entertainment, we also feature such unique longstanding broadcasts as the Hagerty Irish Program – the longest running Irish show in the USA, and a variety of Polka shows. WPNA is home to many community favorites, including Radio Chicago,” Radio EMKA, The O’Connor Show, St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral program, Polish Highlanders Alliance of North America program, and so much more. Because we offer such distinctive, hard-to-find broadcasts, our listeners are loyal and dedicated.

This makes listening to several of the Wonderful Music and music from Poland 🇵🇱 and Ireland 🇮🇪 that I would listen to with Both of My Grandparents growing up on the South side of Chicago, and the Suburbs, like Cicero and Berwyn back in the 60's and the 70' and 80s. Brings back Such wonderful memories learning to dance a waltz or a polka in the kitchen with my Grandmother's while they were trying to make a big meal during the Holidays Polis and Irish festivals were always the best time well.

I'd like to give you 5 stars, but still having trouble. Can't minimize the app or go into settings on a Moto G6. Just crashes the app. Need to be able to listen in the background while using other apps but WEUR APP will just close when I try to do anything else.
