They will suck you in with great graphics. But don't be fooled, this game is very expensive for something that does not work well. They will blame it on your connection but it is their lame servers. Also, no practice Green or driving range. And who has ever heard of a ball effecting your swing, but it does here. The more you pay the more control you have with your swing. They are making millions and not helping you when there are issues.
I enjoy this game. The graphics are great and look great on my s8+. Two complains, 1st you get to spin a wheel for daily prizes. The prize on the wheel vary in most coin or scratch tickets worth coins. Most of the time like 99% you win a very low amount. It would be nice to see higher amounts win more often. It would also be nice to see energy bars or sports drinks on there. 2nd at the end of playing someone it asks it you want to give your opponent golf balls, the type he is using. The problem is it is a three pack to expensive, never have given any or recieved any. You folks should develop an inexpensive single ball. I would be more willing to give a ball to someone that I enjoyed playing with if it didn't cost me 600 credits. You need a ball that I can give away for 25 credits. I not going to do it all the time but I will when I have enjoy playing that person.
Gameplay is good and challenging but this game is the definition of "pay to win." Clubs (and distance) can only be improved by spending gold credits. You can earn 2 gold credits for watching a 30 second video which is fine... Too bad clubs cost hundreds and even thousands of credits. I don't even know what the point of silver credits are. This game is a shameless cash grab, Golf Star is far superior in terms of progression. Everything that can be bought can also be earned or can be won through various lotteries, and stats can be improved independent of equipment. Items are also reasonably priced in Golf Star. In this game some drivers cost $40. Are you kidding me?
Never thought I'd play a golf game quite this good...and realistic. If you hang in there and level up to pro, tour pro and above, maybe join a country club, play tournaments...then i promise you will love this game even more Edit : Latest update...the way the ball reacts, in air and other various situations, is very odd now. Def not as good as it used to be.
Great golf sim, but still you will have to probably spend real money to have a decent set of clubs. The clubs they give to start with aren't that good. Still managed a 70, 2 under par on St Andrews and that was satisfying given how bad the starter clubs are, but expect a lot of high 80 and 90 scores if all you want is to play for free. The golf courses themselves are amazing on the phone to look at!
Play daily. Love the scenery and courses... (I wish I could read greens better is about my only hang up. Great site! Thanks!
