Great golf game, but if you want decent virtual clubs, be prepared to pay real money. A good set of clubs will run you no less than probably $50. Ouch! Also, the game gives you these coins for various achievements, but it's not really clear what these coins are actually good for. So far I have about 50,000 of them, but can't really spend them on anything worthwhile. These coins are not the coins you can use to buy clubs. Those are different coins which you pretty much have to buy in order to get enough to get better clubs. The bottom line: fun game, yes, but I think the authors of this game (WGT) try to hard to make a buck. Like, selling a thousand coins for $100. Uh, no thanks.
Really fun but I have been forfeited about 6 times when I was playing for coins. All of a sudden a window, pops,up,and tells,me "game over because I forfeited ". I'm thinking " no I didnt!" And there is no way to undo. A couple games were for 90k coins. I've s3nt 3 emails and not heard back. If they can fix this and make me happy, then I might continue to play a game I've spent over 100 real dollers,on.
This is the best all around golf game out. The play is very real, the putting although still is tuff to nail down, it's very adaptable. Only downside is gaining points to by clubs and golf balls. There very expensive for the short time they last. And it's hard to obtain unless you actually break out the bank card. But very fun and addictive. I love it.
Very well put together game and very user friendly. Some bad points is that it doesn't seem to match games very well meeting you normally end up being matched with someone who is a lot higher rank. And also the cost from my experience the more cash you got the better you will be shame really.
Way to expensive for a fake golf game. For what you pay for 1 set of clubs you can go play a real round of golf and you need to upgrade clubs constantly to be competitive. All they do is add more clubs to make money and never add new courses. Also views are sometimes totally screwed and you can't change it. Bottom line is maker is just way too money hungry and don't give a crap about advancing the game unless it makes them money.
Clearly a money grab. The game is good, but there is no realistic chance of being competitive unless you are prepared to hand over real dollars. And not 1 or 2. Decent clubs will set you back at least 30 real world bucks. You can play a real round for this. I'll just settle on posting +4 scores for now.
