What's Inside? is the barcode scanner that tells you what's really in the products you buy – food, drinks, cosmetics, skincare, baby products, pet food and household cleaners – and whether any ingredient is banned or restricted in the EU, UK or US.

Point your camera at a barcode and in seconds you get a clear safety verdict: Safe, Caution or Avoid, with every flagged ingredient explained – what it is, where it's banned and why. Many additives, colourings, preservatives and chemicals that are legal in one country are restricted in another. We check them all so you don't have to read the small print.
