About this app

Some hours are better than others. WhenStars works out the planetary hours for the place you are standing and shows you, day by day and hour by hour, when the sky leans your way.

Not a horoscope. A timetable. Every day is cut into planetary hours from true sunrise and sunset at your location, the way astrologers have reckoned time for two thousand years. Positions come from a real ephemeris, the same data astronomers use, computed to the minute.

A PLANNER THAT THINKS IN HOURS

The engine computes classical astrology properly: the old sources, the tropical zodiac, real planetary hours. It never invents. Where the tradition is silent, the app says so. Readings are for reflection and entertainment, not professional advice.

Look around for free, no email needed. A free month of the full calendar comes with every new account. Available in English, German, Spanish, Slovak and Ukrainian, with the translations still under review and marked as such in the app.

No ads. No tracking. Your birth data is yours and can be deleted in the app at any moment.

What’s new

Your account stays put. If you use WhenStars without an email, this phone now keeps its own key to your charts, so closing the app or dropping offline for a while no longer starts you over with an empty account.

German, Spanish, Slovak and Ukrainian are far more complete. Menus, buttons, account screens and the readings themselves are translated throughout, and the wording has been rewritten from scratch.
