About this app

WIMSB Driver is the companion app for school bus drivers using Where Is My School Bus — one tap to start your route, and parents automatically see your live position and stop progress for the rest of the trip.

WHY DRIVERS USE IT
No manual check-ins, no separate tracking device to manage. Start Trip when you begin your route, End Trip when you're done — everything else (location sharing, stop arrivals, parent notifications) happens automatically in the background.

KEY FEATURES

One-tap Start / End Trip
Your assigned route and bus are already set up by your school admin — just tap Start Trip to begin sharing your live location, and End Trip when the route is finished.

Works in the background
Keep driving — the app keeps sharing your location even when the screen is locked or the app isn't in the foreground, so a stop at a red light doesn't create a gap in tracking.

Automatic stop tracking
As you reach and leave each stop along your route, the app detects it automatically from your position — no manual "arrived" button to remember to tap.

Live connection status
See at a glance whether your GPS is connected and whether your position is reaching the server, so you know parents are actually seeing you.

Soft honk
Let a parent know you're right outside their stop with a one-tap, gentle notification — sent only to a parent who's opted in and is actually nearby.

Simple sign-in
Sign in with your mobile number and your school — your school admin sets up your account and assigns your route ahead of time, so there's nothing to configure.
