About this game
Bolt Up! is a tower climber about momentum. You are a small robot at the bottom of an endless tower, and the only way up is to run fast enough to jump high.
SPEED BUYS HEIGHT
A standing jump clears one floor. A full sprint clears three, and Bolt Lab upgrades push that further. Every jump is worth exactly the speed you carried into it, so the whole game is building momentum and spending it well.
Walls bounce you back instead of stopping you, and a jump straight off a wall turns into a somersault. Trampolines throw you higher than you can jump. Crates and glass give way under your feet.
Clear two floors in one jump to start a combo, and keep clearing them to hold it. One small hop and it is gone.
THE FLOOR IS COMING
You get twelve quiet seconds at the start of a run. After that the floor starts to rise, and it speeds up the longer you last and the higher you get. There is no safe height.
FIFTEEN WORLDS, AND YOU KEEP THEM
From The Scrapyard through Open Sky, The Storm, Snowline and Sunset Run, into Nightfall and The Aurora, out past Orbit, The Moon and The Rings, to The Nebula, the Event Horizon and The Void. Each world has its own sky and its own girders.
Reaching a world is permanent. Every run afterwards starts you there, so no climb is wasted.
EIGHTEEN ROBOTS
Bolt, Nova, Kage, Rekt, Vanta, Pulse, Zenith, the Old Master and more. Most leave their own trail as you climb: embers, stardust, blossom, shadow ribbons. Every robot plays exactly the same. The outfits and trails are cosmetic.
BUILD YOUR CLIMBER
Spend the bolts you collect in the Bolt Lab on upgrades, take on three quests a day, keep a daily streak, and level up. Your level colours your name on the leaderboard.
A WORLD LEADERBOARD
You choose a name when you start, and your best climb goes on a global board that updates while you watch.
FAIR BY DESIGN
No forced ads and no interstitials. A video only ever plays when you choose to watch one, in exchange for something. Chests hold random rewards, and their odds are shown in the game before you open one.
Delete your account and everything stored with it at any time, from inside the game.
