Daifugo (大富宏人, also known as Daihinmin) is a multiplayer card game. Cards are dealt equally to all players, and players compete to clear their hand of cards by taking turns placing their cards on the table.
It is a stop-game game (i.e., players place their cards on the table according to the rules and compete to clear their hand of cards the fastest).
It is generally suited to 4-6 players, but can also be played with 7 or more players, or even with just 2 players, depending on the rules. A distinctive feature of this game is that the previous player's ranking affects the player's advantage at the start of the next game (a loss makes it difficult to regain their position), giving the winner an even greater advantage, hence the nickname "Daifugo." Another notable feature is the large number of local rules, such as conditions for card exchanges, cards with special effects, and total changes in rankings and card values upon meeting certain conditions. These local rules add variety to the game and, due to the nature of the game, card exchanges, prevent higher-ranked players from consistently winning.
