Ratings and reviews

This app has been incredibly buggy for us. Most recently they started their "perks plus" membership program. They claimed that the restaurants had minimum order amounts that would result in free delivery for members, but none of these amounts showed up on our app. My subsequent customer service experience was a huge waste of time. Delivery has frequently been double the estimated amount of time, and the driver leaves the order on the porch without ringing/knocking so it gets cold quickly.

Profoundly long delivery times for items in the Petawawa area and a sub-par user interface make Valley Eats a chore to use. Often, the app will allow you to start creating a cart for delivery only to realize nearing checkout that the location you picked isn't available for delivery and has not been for quite a while. That, and the extreme wait times means that I'm usually better off walking. What I do appreciate, however, is their large selection compared to their competitors.

Ordered food set for pick up a bit over an hour from when I ordered, as I needed time for errands and to pick up. Order was ready within 5 minutes after ordering. Which was over an hour before I could pick up. I contacted customer support. They replied to me and said everything was okay because the restaurant re-heats the food before I pick up. Which is seriously gross and not to mention a health hazard leaving the food sitting for over an hour. Got no help further from that. No option to cancel
