Untangle the ropes, one by one.
String Theory is a cozy, colorful puzzle game about knots and yarn. The board is packed with twisted ropes, and around it sit six balls of yarn. Drag a rope by either end, slide it snake-style through the gaps, and pull it onto the yarn ball of its own color to reel it home. Clear every rope to finish the level.
Sounds easy? The ropes are tangled together, and every move changes what's free. Pick the wrong rope first and you'll block your own way. Think ahead, find the right order, and watch the whole board unravel.
★ 500 LEVELS
Start gently with five guided levels, then work your way through 500 puzzles that grow from relaxed to really tangled. After that, the game keeps going with endless new levels.
★ EARN ALL 3 STARS
Clear a level in as few moves as you can. Three stars at the bottom of the screen drain as you use moves, so you always know how close you are. Replay any level from the level overview to go for a perfect score.
★ A NEW CHALLENGE EVERY DAY
Every day brings a fresh daily challenge: reel in 60 ropes, earn 8 stars, clear levels in a row without failing, and many more. Complete them to build your streak and fill your calendar with stars.
★ TRICKY TWISTS
As you progress, new obstacles join the puzzle:
• Steel blocks that no rope can pass
• Creeping steel that moves into empty squares and builds walls as you play
• Sticky slime that spreads with every move and can cut a rope off from its yarn ball
